Recycling Week Launch ( 4 June 2011)
Our school participated in NEA’s Recycling Week Launch held on 4 June 2011. This event took place at Tampines Central. Our student participants shared on the recycling efforts of the Sec 1 and Sec 2 students. They raised awareness on the 3Rs at the national level. Our school was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, the Minister for the Environment & Water Resources.

Assembly Talk & Roadshow by ACRES

Animal Concerns Research & Education Society (ACRES) conducted an assembly talk in order to raise pupils’ awareness on the need to improve the environmental conditions and also foster respect for animals. The officers also shared the type of job opportunities available at ACRES and the experiences of the officers while saving the animals.

CIP at St Lukes Eldercare Centre
March 2011
Sec 4E4 pupils visited St Lukes Eldercare Centre for CIP. The aim of the visit was to show care and concern for the elderly. The pupils had prepared items to share with them. They had a meaningful time with the elderly and contributed to their happiness by doing craftwork and chatting with them.
